Why should I choose K&W Vacation Homes?
We take great pride in ensuring that the vacation homes that we offer for rental are among the highest caliber in the area with high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

We give our guests time to settle in then offer the option of a personal orientation visit to orient them to their vacation home; usually the morning after arrival. This is useful and a good opportunity to answer any questions that arise about the house and what the area has to offer.


Do all the houses have pools?

All of our homes have private pools some also have spas most pools are 5 ft deep but some are 6ft at one end. All pools are surrounded by a pool cage which helps to keep bugs and debris from the pool area.


Are the homes licensed?
All  our homes are licensed with the state of Florida through the Department of Business and Professional Regulation within the Division of Hotels and Restaurants.


What booking fees are involved?
We do not charge booking fees; the price you see on this site is a pre tax, base fee before optional extras like pool heat are added.

A small convenience fee is charged for online reservation payments.


Can I choose the home I will be staying in?
Absolutely! In our online property search  area, You select the home that you think will fit your personal family needs. This house will then be booked for you so you know what you are getting. Occasionally a house may become unavailable for reasons outside our control; in this event you will be notified immediately and offered alternative accommodation of the same or higher standard.


How many people are allowed to stay in one home?

Unless a lower maximum is stated the legal restrictions are:-
3 bedroom homes accommodate up to 8 people
4 bedroom homes accommodate up to 10 people
5 bedroom homes accommodate up to 12 people


Do you charge a Security Deposit?

Yes; although the majority of guests use our homes as though they were their own, unfortunately some do not take as much care as they should. We charge a refundable deposit of $350 at time of booking, if the house is left as it was found then the full amount is refunded; usually within two weeks of departure.


Do the homes have telephone service?
Yes; the majority of our homes offer FREE Unlimited Long Distance and FREE International calls to over 50 countries world wide - it may be worth checking first.


What is your cancellation policy?

Period Prior to Cancellation - Cancellation Fee Charged

6  Weeks Prior 25% deposit

2 - 6  Weeks Prior 50% of full rental cost

Within 2 Weeks of start date 100% of rental cost

We do encourage guests to purchase a holiday insurance to safeguard against last minute problems.


How do I make a reservation?
Go to our ONLINE RESERVATIONS area, select a home that you would like, enter your booking information and submit it; your booking will be processed with automatic email confirmation immediately. All you need to remember is to request any extras booking items you think you will need. We will then contact you to confirm receipt and mail out your confirmation letter and arrival instructions.


Do the houses have a laundry?

Each house has its own Washer, Dryer, Ironing Board and Iron; due to the complexity of choice and personal preferences we do not supply washing detergent.  


Does the pool need to be heated?
If you wish to swim, you should be aware that these are outdoor pools and therefore subject to nature’s elements. In our experience almost all guests would want the pool heated during the months of November through to March. October and April can be marginal but generally need to be heated also; the rest of the year the pools would not need heating. Pools are heated to an internationally accepted standard of between 82 and 85 degrees. You may however wish to have the spa (where appropriate) heated even during the summer, this can be arranged separately.
